How much longer would "Family Guy" last if "South Park " got!
Question:
How much longer would "Family Guy" last if "South Park " got pulled off the air ?
Since it seems that "Family Guy" uses the "South Park" episodes for show ideas almost half the time.
Answers:
First off the shows aren't even similar...other than the fact that they are cartoons...and the only reason why it "seems" that the Family Guy uses South Park for show ideas is because South park takes current news topics or current happenings in the world and satirizes it....well so does the family guy and american dad and the simpsons....so are you going to shoot the writers for writing about the same social and political issues that are affecting everyones lives....on top of all that...family guy doesn't have to rely on raunchy humor(it is funny though) and total shock value (also amusing)(i.e. the episode of SP where all the guys have sex with each other to stop the future immigration problem) to get ratings and make a decent show.
Don't get me wrong I love both shows...but really they are completely independent of each other and neither one would feel the burn if the other was cancelled
