GENERAL HOSPITAL NIGHT SHIFT?!

Question:

GENERAL HOSPITAL NIGHT SHIFT?

This morning, I caught some of the first episode of GH:NS. I had to go to work, however. (I was watching it at 5:oo AM this morning. Although I have not seen General Hospital in years, due to the "General Soprano" plotlines, I was very impressed with this show. Maybe I may go back to watching GH again in time. (BTW: Jason and Spinelli, Robin, Maxie and Epiphany were among the GH ones I seen as well as a couple of others. I even saw Billy Dee Williams.) Has anyone caught the episode and have an opinion? thanks (Still YR/BB 4-ever!)

Answers:

I watched it as well (it came on @ 4am here), and it seemed pretty fast-paced. I guess I misunderstood the whole concept of the show because I thought it was going to coincide with daytime GH. On GH Jason is in jail and on Night Shift he's not. I thought it was going to have same storyline as GH and just be GH after dark. I wasn't expecting it to be a totally different show because it has the same characters. Like today on daytime GH Spinelli was trying to defend Carly b/c Jason is in jail, but the same day on nighttime GH Jason is out of jail hanging with Spinelli. So you have to try and separate the two like you're watching two compeletly different soaps. So if you don't watch daytime GH you won't have a problem separating the two. But it's definitely worth tuning in to check it out.
