Smallville question: is it possible for sarah carter aka alicia baker to return to smallville?

If this were any other show in this genre, I'd say of course it is. Other characters were magically brought back to life, why not Alicia? I wish she'd come back; I like Alicia. Maybe Alicia has a twin or clone or something out there. Maybe she wasn't really dead; it could have been like a temporary stasis thing. It could have been something they did to her at Belle Reve, or maybe it's just part of her meteor power. I mean, Clark was pretty happy in the next episode (Recruit) seeing as how his (ex) wife supposedly just died. Having Alicia still be alive during Recruit makes him seem like less of a jerk than the show usually makes him out to be. Of course, then she would have had to dig herself out of the grave, unless Clark were there to save her, or maybe it was some sort of con between her and Clark to make her enemies think she was dead. Maybe she's happy and healthy in California right now.

But with this show and its producers' creepy Lana-obsession, I'm going to go with no. If Alicia came back, Clark could be with her, and there'd be no need for him to sit in his barn all day, pining for Lana and not becoming Superman.
