Have you ever seen the show "Engaged and Underage?"?
It's on MTV, and features 18-21 year-olds getting MARRIED!! Don't you think that's a BIG decision to make at that age? I mean, I got married at 25 and sometimes I think THAT was too young!!

Yes and I agree it's a huge decision especially for the kids these days. They are so clueless as to what marriage is all about. They think it's all about fairy tale love and being together all the time when it's really about commitment and making life decisions together with someone who's on the same page as you. Most people 18-21 still live at home and aren't responsible for themselves let alone someone else.
I TIVO-ed a movie on Lifetime the other day called Too Young to Marry. From the previews, it looked like a 2 hour version of Engaged and Underage. I'm watching it tonight. I really don't think people think things through before getting married. Holding hands, kissing, sex, and being mushy gushy in love doesn't pay the bills or rent. The reality of life sets in when you have to decide to stay home and watch tv instead of going to a movie so you can pay the electric bill.
25 isn't too young if you've lived a little and are ready to settle down.
