WANTED - NIGHTSHIFT opinions - What does everyone think of this new show ?? Is it gonna be a hit or miss ??

I am not sure to be honest. I am going to continue to watch it to see how it goes, but I am not a gun ho OH I LOVE IT fan yet.
I don't want to miss it because even tho they say "the stories will be self-contained and wrap up during each weekly episode" there will be more to the storylines I like watching and don't want to miss Jason and Jake spending time together while Liz is working, Patrick and Robin, Coop and Maxie and so on...
I know that it is suppose to be sexier and draw in more viewers so maybe that will be enough to keep us who are on the fence around!!
