Young and Restless?

I started watching it today.
I have a few questions.

- Whats going on with Amber and that guy? There is something going on with some marriage license.

- Whats with Nick and Phyliss? What happened between him and Sharon?

- Whats going on with that guy in the wheel chair?

- Wheres Victor? I didn't see him on the show.

- Whats going on with that British girl and that guy trying to kill her?

I know these are a lot of questions.
I haven't watched the show in 6 years and I want to get caught up.
So can someone please explain to me what is going on with all of the characters so I can get caught up?

Ok.

-Amber met Cane (her husband?) online a couple of months ago while she was trying to find Jill's real son( Philip Chancelor Jr. turned out not to be Jill's son after all). Catherine swaped babies back in the 70s to punnish Jill for stealing her husband (pretty twisted).Amber,being the gold-digger she is, doesn't tell Cane that she knows who his real mother is (he was looking for his birth mom)but pretends to help him find her. Eventually she "discovers" that Jill and Cane are mother and son, but not before she romances Cane, whisks him of to Vegas, gets him drunk, and fools him into thinking he married her (she actually got her friend Allison Stewart from As the World Turns to dress up as a man for the ceremony and forge Cane's signature while he was passed out in the motel room). Cane is finally starting to put two and two together.

-Cassie died 2 years ago in a car wreck. Nick and Sharon started to have problem afterwards. He then cheats on her with Phyllis. She finds out and cheats on him with Brad. They divorce,Phyllis and him have a baby (Summer) and get married. Sharon develops a relationship with Jack and they get married. About 6 weeks ago, Nick was in a plane crash on the Newman jet. For weeks, everyone thought he was dead. Two weeks ago he was found and apparently has a partial amnesia (can't remember the last two years) and everything is news to him.

-the guy in the wheelchair is the district attorney, William Bardwell. Gloria (Michael Baldwin and Kevin Fisher's mom) married John Abbot two years ago (for money at first). John died, Jack and Ashley wanted to finally cut her out of the family, so she decided to sabotage them and discredit their abbility to run the company by lacing several jars of cream from Ashley's new skin care line with poison. A woman had a bad reaction and died. William had been investigating the case for months. Gloria decides to saddle up to him to get him emotionally involved with her so that he would not suspect her. They got married a couple of weeks ago, he cracked the case but had a stroke after she admitted what she had done. She has been keeping all visitors from trying to communicate with him so that she will not be found out and sent to prison for 2nd degree murder.

-Victor's around. He had a seisure last year and became a totally different person (very child-like).Jack took advantange of him and got him to sign something over to him (i don't remember what). He's better now and is as determined as ever to destroy Jack.

-the brittish girl is Jenna, Kevin Fisher's ex-girlfirend. Ex because she tried to kill Kevin (michael's half brother) and Colleen (brad and Tracy's daughter) in a fire after they found out that she killed someone. Ironically that's the same way Kevin tried to kill Colleen 3 years ago when she exposed his unlawfull and lascivious relationship with a then 14 year old Lily Winters (dru's daughter)--he was 25!!!. Colleen finally forgave Kevin after he risked his life trying to save hers in the fire 2 months ago, and they have since become friends. Kevin lured Jenna back in town to even the score, but we all know how that ended today.
