Have you been a victim of the A&E Network cable "reality" series INTERVENTION?

Do you feel you have been exploited in any way??

I personally was never on Intervention but my best friend's mother was. I remember her saying that she felt really violated and betrayed by her family in the beginning but when she went away and sobered up, she felt differently. She is one of the few that has not relapsed and it has been almost two years. One of the reasons she hasn't relapsed was because she saw the show and saw how she acted when she was drinking and she was horrified. I know that without the show and everyone involved she might never have become sober. I think no matter how it looks, these people are trying to help others in desperate need while simultaneously showing the viewers what happens when you take these drugs and lose control. I personally appreciate everything that show does and stands for.
