Why have no new episodes for south park been made for about a month and a half, and three websites I went to said there wouldnt be any until October some time... WWWWHHHHHYYYYY??????
Answers:
It takes about 3 months start to finish for each episode. After the scripts are written, storyboards and basic animation are done. Then it gets shipped to South Korea for the actual animation and shipped back, where the voices are added to the finished product. I saw this on one of the Special Features on one of the seasons of South Park DVDs.
Also, it's summertime, and this is the season of re-reuns mostly everywhere in the U.S., since people travel on vacation and don't want to miss their shows.
