BBC in America?!

BBC in America?
Stupid question, but is there any tv service in the US that carries the BBC or other British tv stations? I'm not talking about BBCAmerica, either. I mean the real BBC. Or does the law make it impossible to do? I would really like to have these channels, as I can't stand American TV.
Answers:
It is not against the law but you do have to find the right satellite dish subscriber in your area to get the cahnnels you want direct from England, Greece, France, China, Russia or where ever. But, you can definitely get the BBC without breaking the law.
