Years ago, Heather and her mother, April came to Genoa City when Heather was a pre-teen, and lived for awhile with mother Mary. April fled her abusive husband and returned to safety. Paul and Mary tried to get them to stay, but April insisted on returning to him because he convinced her he would change (yeah, right...) April ended up killing him out of self-defense. April and Heather decided to leave town to make a new life for themselves. Sorry Paul... Hey does that mean Cricket has lost her job? I can only hope!
