I think that CBS, the makers of CSI have dismissed any claims of a British CSI spinoff. They claimed that any attempt to make such show would struggle in the British TV market where there are hundreds of police and crime programmes.
But for a theme tune, my vote would be on 'I Can See For Miles'.
