West Wing any good after Sorkin left?!

Question:

West Wing any good after Sorkin left?

I've recently gotten hooked (I know a few years too late, but better late than never). Anyhow, I've got seasons one and two and I just ordered three and four, but are the seasons after Sorkin worth ordering? It seems like he was the backbone of the show and he wrote almost all of them until he left. Are five through seven worth paying for or should I just borrow copies from people I know?

Answers:

I like Season 1-4 the best, although Season 3 is not his finest, in my opinion. But as with the first four seasons you will find good and better (and fantastic) episodes to watch. There are also some crappy ones, mainly in Season 5, some cheesy ones in Season 6 and 7. My advice is to borrow Season 5 and see whether you like it. Just make sure to watch the whole season not just the first two-three episodes. After that, you will be able to decide whether you wanted to buy Season 5-7.

One more thing though. I have all of them on DVD and I have never regretted buying them. I can still rewatch 'Han' (Season 5), 'A Good Day' (Season 6) and 'Running Mates' (Season 7) just like 'Lies, Damn Lies', the 'Stackhouse Filibuster' and '20 Hours in America'.
