Do you think reality TV is a lame excuse for famousness?!
Question:
Do you think reality TV is a lame excuse for famousness?
Or is it an important cultural phenomena? I don't like watching it so I just don't get it. So many people who's careers would have faded from the public eye a long time ago have stayed in the spotlight this way, and others are famous for no other reason at all. Why do people pay attention to them?
Answers:
It's a lame excuse for producers to get off making a TV show on the cheap. Rather than pay writers, actors, set directors, costume designers, etc., they just go to a location and film average schlubs. Unfortunately, the American public has settled for this crap for more than 10 years now so it's not going away anytime soon.
