In Roseanne, did Dan really die of a heart attack or did she just make that up in her novel?
I caught the very tip end of the episode where Roseanne said that her mother was not really gay and that it was Jackie that was gay and that Dan had died of a heart attack. I did not understand if Dan had really died in the show or if she just made that up and put it in her novel so that she would have something to write about.
Answers:
She made up everything about him cheating on her. He did die of the heart attack that day. Everything from then on was supposed to be a part of her story.
