Is it me, or do you think the editors for Y&R cut out too many gaps?!

Is it me, or do you think the editors for Y&R cut out too many gaps?
Okay, for example today on Y&R, they had Daniel at the shrink, then the next scene he is in the coffee shop. They don't even switch to another scene to "give him time" to get to the coffee shop. Or show him driving there or something. They've been doing that alot for the past 2 years or more. Does it have to do with the editing? Or more of the writers part? Because I think they changed writers in the past 2 years or a little more..ever since William Bell passed away.
But when they cut to the next scene, it doesn't make sence. Its like too hasty almost. Too quick. And Y&R, never used to be like that. What do you think?

I agree, they don't move from one scene to another very well, just when I think it is evening in one scene, in the next it is earlier in the same day, and back and forth...does make it very hard to follow
