What happend to the old mtv? i miss it : (?

why are all theses crappy shows on each one ov them has been reruned like 200 times. what ever happened to bevis and butt head? what happened to anime night? what happened to the popculture movies? what happened to spiderman the new animated series? what happened to wekkday videos that were near nonstop and what hapened to those cool funny talk shows? well i think its time to bring it all back and show america what they missed

dude, i remember when there was NOTHING but videos on. once in a while someone would pop up and do an interview with a featured artist, or talk about new records and upcoming concerts. the only aspect of the channel was music.

mtv is for little girls who's only concepts of life is paying attention to fads and being told what to listen to and wear, and the boys who's dads never taught them to think for themselves and work hard for what you want in life.

i can understand adding the concerts, interviews, the music video award shows, those are all music related... even the popculture movies and a few cartoons, not entirely about music, but it goes along well with music, and theres always noticeable music in those things..... then i got a little older and there were other shows that just had nothing to do with music. real world? there was nothing real about that... take 10 strangers in college and put them in a million dollar loft to teach them about life? no, it was there so people could watch them fight. oh, the lesbian vegitarian chick doesnt get along with the hardcore christian republican kid fromt he bible belt states? brainless television for brainless people. it was no longer "M" tv, it was shameless advertising and the same recycled crap over and over again.

seriously, the only way to do it over would be to somehow start your own channel, and only show music videos again. as much as i love Beavis and Butt-Head, the only way to do it pure would be to leave just the videos, and the minimum amount of advertising needed to run the channel. then, if you wanted to have an offshoot channel you could have some original animation and movies and stuff.

my sister watches their top 20 video thing, i dont know what they call it right now. its sickening to see that when i'm over it takes them an HOUR to show 20 videos, but they dont even show them all, and then only show the top 3 or so in their entirety. and theres usually a bunch of screaming 13 year olds "my name is Christina and i'm from Georgia and i love Timbaland and i wanna shout out to my friend Shawna! WHOOOOOO!!!!".

i really hope that someday they meet a boy who wont date them because they were on that show.
