Superboy or Smallville: Which was the better series?
Superboy was on in the late 80's/early 90's. The first season (now on DVD) had John Haymes-Newton. The second through fourth had Gerard Christopher. All seasons had Stacy Haiduk as Lana.
Smallville is currently on TV, with Tom Welling as an un-costumed Clark and Kristin Kreuk as a non-redhead Lana.

I've seen both series and I have to say Smallville tops it. With good writing and cast you can overlook a non red-head Lana or a black Pete Ross. In comics circles you can easily say that Smallville is a parallel/alternate universe.
