She wants Phil all to herself so she has used ben to start with getting in his good books to make Phil want her and need her.
bullied Ben to get Phil to ask her to marry her.
Then she has abused him both pysical and mental for many months to get what she wants and it has been true to life as it happens to many children.
This week ben has the guts to stand up to her in church in front of everyone and she does a runner.
