Comcast sucks?!

Comcast sucks?

Comcast just took over for Verizon in my town today.Here they have removed the NFL network and now are trying to dump the Fox Sports Soccer channel to a sports package(Two of my favorite new channel's from 2006).. I told my dad to switch to Direct TV,but he won't budge an inch.What should I do?

Yeah, I have Comcast, too. Over here in Jersey. They do suck, you are right. I do not like them for the sheer fact that I was happy with my basic cable and HBO and my internet hooked up. But then, I had gotten a letter in the mail saying that in order to get HBO, I MUST get the box. Now, I was a big "Sopranos" fan, and I wanted to see the last season of it. So, I had to get the box (but, there is a catch: you cannot get ALL the things unless you ask-and pay extra-for. I.E. DVR) and I was livid. Messed up my cable for a few days (they paid me back) and now I have until January to not pay the 'introductory' price. With all the things out there like Direct TV or The Dish or whatever other satellite you can get, you would think they would lower the price-for one-and then let you keep the channels you have AND add the others on without taking anything away.
I am think later on, once this is over with, with getting the Optimum package. Because Comcast sucks.
And about your dad, do not worry. One day, he will want to watch something and he can't because Comcast dose not have the station and he has to pay extra for something he usually got for free. THEN, he will think of switching. It is just a matter of time before your father will be upset about how they screw people over.
