GH: Is the Ely Love setup so that Rick Springfield can?
hold a concert on GH?? Is he going to perform? (not complaining), he looks HOT in his black leather. Also loving Anna Devane as an inspired fan. Good chemistry!!! Agree??
Answers:
There WILL be a concert, and Rick Springfield will perform, General Hospital head writer Robert Guza confirmed in a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest; however, Guza played it coy as to whether it will be Noah or Eli performing. In today's episode, Anna mentioned that the concert is in two weeks.
Springfield has said that part of the reason he went back to GH in Dec. 2005 was because he was looking for a way to connect with his audience and "radio is dead.... personally, I think TV is the new radio." For this reason (and the lure of a dual role as justification), Springfield has overcome his original reluctance to perform musically, in character, on GH.
On a personal note, I am enjoying the Eli Love story, and Anna Devane's part in it, very much. I think she and RS are both very talented actors who can have chemistry with just about anyone, and with each other they are dynamite.
And yes, RS is still quite the hottie in his black leather...
