Smallville Season 7 Cast?

*SPOILER WARNING*

In the season finale we see Lana get into her car, which then explodes. Chloe's tear revives Lois at the cost of her consciousness/life. Lex gets caught by the police, and Lionel either gets knocked out or dies under the rubble.

So now, I’ve read a few summaries of the new episodes of the new season. We know Lois is in it, Lex is in it, Kara (Super girl) comes into the picture, Lionel does not die and he’s in it as well, also Clark hears Chloe screaming after she is put in a morgue and he saves her, and finally Lex has his men search China for someone with a tracking device, and this someone is supposedly Lana. Now since those are just articles and not necessarily mean they are true, what do you think.
Does Lionel, Lana, and Chloe survive?
Does Lex not get arrested?
and
Does Clark beat the phantom, with the assistance of Kara or does she help the phantom?

I think everyone survives because they're all main characters and signed on at least through season 7. I think Lana faked her own death so she can get away from Lex. Chloe will survive because her kryptonite power can't just be a one time thing. I'm pretty sure the spoilers are right by saying chloe will be survived. Lionel will definitely survive because it seems now that Lionel has helped Clark in the his time of need. Lionel has turned good while Lex has turned permanently bad. I think Lex will get arrested but he has many friends in high places that will bail him out of this mess. He was arrested for the death of Lana but I think he'll be able to pin this on someone else. Clark will definitely beat the phantom but I think he's really going to struggle until Kara comes and helps him. In the past episodes it is shown that Clark really can't beat a supervillian (like Zod or a zoner) on his own. He always needs someone to help him or point him in the right direction. So I think Kara will help him defeat Bizarro but she won't know he's Kal-el because in the spoilers for episode 2 (I think) it says that Kara expects Kal-El to be a baby.
