Does anyone understand what actually happened in the last episode of Heroes?

Is Peter and Nathan dead? When did Sylar get the regeneration power? Where the heck has Hero gone?

Sad i know but I love that show and cant wait for the 2nd series.

I don't understand anything about Hiro but my guess is that he's returned to the original era of where his sword originates.
You know from that samurai that originally had the sword?
I think that's why they look alike.

Well, I'm not sure how Sylar was able to regenerate. He might've absorbed that from Peter cause I don't know how he would do that from Claire.

As for Peter and Nathan, I don't think they're dead.
Peter has the ability to regenerate himself and I think Nathan flew right after Peter exploded.
