Do you think the writers are using a cheap stunt to redeem Tony's misdeeds for the last twenty years? Oh, it wasn't Tony at all! It was Andre who was so bad! Tony isn't a bad guy! He's been marooned on an island for the last twenty years!
It would have been a lot more effective to really redeem Tony's character by making him look deep into his soul and realize his actions and hatred are wrong. None of this evil twin cousin crap.

Nothing surprises me on Days anymore. They bring people back from the dead all the times. Stefano has died so many times and came back. I still watch the show and it is nice to see old faces in the present. I liked when Steve and Kayla came back and also Carrie and Austin. This show is known for stunts like this, it shouldn't surprise anyone.
