Why dont prime time shows repeat late at night on network tv?!

Question:

Why dont prime time shows repeat late at night on network tv?

Answers:

Currently there are no prime time shows worth repeating.Network TV is in the preparation phase for February 17 2009. That is the date when network TV ends and all TV will be cable or satellite or whatever. The preparation phase for this event has been going on for several years by networks deliberating lowering the quality of their product. Using "reality" shows means no payments to actors or writers or directors ,which would be necessary for drama or comedy or variety shows. Those type shows have been shifted to PBS . Have you noticed the big stars are now on PBS ?? When usually someone like Bruce Springsteen would be on a ABC special ,now he appears on a concert on PBS. Ditto Tony Bennett. Also the drama shows worth watching are on PBS. Is there a better crime series than Prime Suspect?? I think not.
