The college's first week is filled with all the fraternities and sororities hazing their pledges. Kappa Tau Gamma's hazing includes: pledges doing laundry, staying up all night and harrasing those who fall asleep. Fictional sorority, Zeta Beta Zeta, holds a pledges' scavenger hunt. Casey gives Rebecca a different and harder list to get back at her. Rusty was late for his first class because of falling asleep and is exasperated between preparing for completing a test and with his Fraternities activities. His Physics class had 124 students with only enough room for 100. In order to cut the class down to size the professor assigns a 90 question packet to the students. Rusty decides to work with his dorm mate in order to complete the test but fails to do his share because of a beer pong competition between Kappa and Omega. He wins his match and gives Kappa the win over Omega. When he fails to complete his share of the work his dorm mate wigs out but Kappa comes to the rescue through an organized effort to delay the professor and get Rusty's packet in the professor's box undetected. However it is revealed to have been pointless as the professor does not bother to look at the packets. When confronted with the packet over 30 students dropped the course giving each of the remaining students a seat. Rusty then makes a comment that the packet was merely hazing, ironic since the professor earlier demonstrated scorn of fraternities and hazing rituals. Rebecca gets in trouble because of her scavenger list, and as Zeta Beta Zeta could get in serious trouble, Rebecca's dad steps in and saves the day. Frannie is so happy she allows Rebecca to take Casey's room. While moving out Casey receives a video of Rebecca and Evan having sex so Casey blackmails Rebecca and gets her room back.
