i was just watching it and i really dont like the new guy.. w/e his name is :p

dragonfly girl is the one that has overdosed . . .if you google his name you will readily see that he is alive and well . . .regardless of all the crazy rumours that were going around at the time. You will see those stories and his response to them if you do a search too.
There is a recent interview with him on the web and he discusses that his real passion is music and he originally ended up as the host of Blues clues almost by mistake. Money was tight in the music industry at the time . .
Anyway after a couple of years on blues Clues he went to a club in New York where the music really affected him and the rest is history . . . he is now a muso yet again.
He enjoyed his time on the show but founf it frustrating as all he was doing was moving around talking to himself in front of a big blue screen . . . that is how they do the animation . . . so he did get a bit bored.
He has been gone from the show for about 8 years now.
