I think it is Chris de Burgh, if memory serves, as I went to that show at the Glasgow Pavilion.
What does he have against him? Does he need a reason? It is Chris de Bleedin Lady in Red, A Spaceman Came a Travelling Burgh for bleeders sake. That in itself is reason enough.
