What happened to mtv on my dish network?!

What happened to mtv on my dish network?
Everytime I go to channel 160 it just skips right over mtv and mtv2. These are my favorite channels and I'm getting screwed. When I just push 160 it'll goto channel 159 instead and skip right over etc... Anyone have this problem? Thanks

Missing channels are most commonly caused by the following.
1) Your on a favorites list. When you go to guide, look in the top left side of your screen. It should say "all chan" or "all sub". If it does not press the guide button to rotate through your list until it does.
2) You have your locks on. Could be a channel lock issue. Go to Menu 5 and and then select channel locks. See if you have MTV and MTV2 blocked.
3) You are missing other channels as well and you don't realize it. Go to menu 6-1-1 and check the following transponders. 15 and 16 on both sat 119 and 110. See if your missing signal one one of those.
4) Shot in the dark: Go back to 6-1-1 and select "check switch" then run the test. Everything should come back with OK, OK or you have a problem.
5) Need to do a Hard Reset: unplug for 1 minute and let it start up on it's own.
