Can anyone remember the kids TV show where there is an owl in a tree and beans are planted and something?

happens when they grow. Don't know anything else about it. Just wanted to know so I can look on youtube to see if it brings back memories. Thank you muchly - I know its vague

Thinking about it, its brought a bit more back. The owl was sat in a tree and the beans were colourful and patterned. I think the beans were probably put in a case of some kind and maybe put in the tree?

The beans being planted and things growing made me think it could be the British show "Herbs" (late 60's, early 70's). The owl in that show is called 'Sage the Owl'. . . he's often in his tree. There are photos at this link:

The children's show host Pixanne also had an owl friend called 'Ollie the Owl.'
