Yes they did. In the episode where they take Tina on a ski trip and Holly decides she's ready but Vince gets cold feet, right before they are going to leave, he kisses her and says he's ready, she tells him that she'll be gentle and they fade out, obviously they couldn't show anything. They probably didn't televise that she told Val because it would have to have been an episode all in it's own.
