it was the painting that when monk was in the mesum and claimed the wife in the painting is trying to kill her husband.

The painting was of Amanita mushrooms, not tomatos. paintings used like this tend to be worthless and only created for the show. thus the painting has no name. This also avoids having to pay royalties to an artist for using their work.
