How do you become a writer for the soap operas or even the idea giver?

Getting your foot in the door would be one way - not necessarily to be an intern. Submit any ideas or write a script and send it to the head writer of a soap. Let them see your style of writing and how creative you can be. If you're rejected at first, don't stop. Just keep submitting your ideas. You can find the name of the head writers on each soaps webpage. Good luck. We need some new writers and ideas.
