You will see it when they start to air season 4, but to answer you question (even though it is a spoiler for you), Nathan does not die in the water.
As for the Pregnancy, there are 2.
It turns out that Karen is pregnant with Keith's baby. We also find out that Brooke is pregnant as well, but she wouldn't say who the father was. BUT, she really wasn't pregnant, but not in the way she pulled it in season 1. She was actually covering for Hailey who hadn't told Nathan yet when the pregnancy test was found. Karen and Keith have a girl (Lily) and Nathan and Hailey have a boy (James).
