Did ESPN's Dana Jacobson leave ESPN?

I missed 8 shows of "ESPN First Take". All of the sudden, Dana Jacobson was gone. The replacement did not say anything like "filling in for". Was Dana Jacobson's departure explained? Thanks.

Was she fired? Did she just change jobs at ESPN? There are many rumors flying about out there. I'm about ready to write to ESPN and ask them. Wanted to give the YA community a chance first. ESPN's address is:

I wondered about that, too. But today's "First Take" has Dana Jacobson back on the air. The world is right again. :o)

My best guess to the reason for her extended absence was that she had a personal issue to attend to (e.g. - death in the family). Understandably, she would want to keep that hush-hush.
