Come on Saturday nights at home is getting boring and you know all the boys want to watch Top Gear....Does anyone know the answer???

Top gear is usually on on Sunday nights.
The BBC usually change their programing around September October time into 'winter' programing, this includes Top Gear which will return around that time, when the clocks change to winter mode.
I remember Top gear when it was a show that road tested ordinary cars for the viewing public. Noel Edmunds was a presenter and the road tests were of reasonable family cars and other vehicles consumers might have an interest in. Top gear has grown into an entertaining but plainly a supercar sh@gfest of speed and rubber burning! Indeed, far from the reality and reach of the average family car owners prospective commuting vehicle.
In the UK, where we are indeed lucky, if we can maintain speeds of 70 miles per hour for long, before hitting congestion or being camera flashed. Let alone nip out and buy a Ford GT40 a Ferrari or a cconnnigggessegg whatever.
I would like to see te return of proper consumer advice and roadtesting of normal vehicles. The screeching of tyres around a track is great entertainment, but not the consumer programme Top Gear originally set out to be.
