Well they havn't officially hooked up.
Karen will be a part of the first few episodes of the next season to wrap up the triangle.
Anyways, i doubt it will affect the show too much.
They are going to have some pretty interesting storylines this next season, with micheal moving in with Jan, Ryan taking over Jan's job, etc.
It should be pretty good.
If they do make Pam and Jim more than friends, they will still do all their cute funny pranks around the office and torture Dwight.
