Kyle, played by Matt Dallas, it 1,000,000 times hotter than Amanda, played by Kirsten Prout. In real life, a guy as hot as Kyle wouldn't give Amanda the time of day. In fact, none of the women on that show are even close to Kyle's level of hotness. He has more chemistry with his adopted mom, Nicole, than he does with boring Amanda. Nicole is gorgeous.

Bonus question: I was only halfway paying attention last time I was watching Kyle XY. Why is Amanda's family having money problems?

Matt Dallas is pretty hot.
I think its unfair to say that he wouldn't give her the time of day, that makes him sound shallow.
I think the whole thing is that Kyle is really innocent, really sweet, and he connects with Amanda who is also very innocent and sweet.
She is very cute- but don't you think they try to make her look a little plain? becuase she could be way hotter, but they play down her looks. i think they are trying to make her look sweet and modest and stuff.
Becuase when she played the treasure in the movie electra you could see that she could be way cuter.
