On VH1's "Rock of Love", why does Bret Michaels always wear bandannas on his head? Is he going bald?

I was wondering that myself. He always wears the bandana, the hat or both. He must be going bald. I would love to see the reactions of those trashy girls who were slobbering all over him if he took off his hat as was half bald or something.
