Question:
TV on DVD recomendations?
can anyone recommend some DVDs of TV shows that I might like, here is a list of what ones i have watched starting with the ones i like the best (ive seen all seasons of the following). I don't like sitcoms mostly (friends/fraiser) or legal/political type shows

La Femme Nikita - by the creators of 24, spy thriller. It's about a woman who was falsely accused of murder and recruited by a secret agency called Section One, which definitely resides in the gray area of the law. It has interesting plots and compelling characters. All episodes are on DVD. (My all time favorite show ever.)

Supernatural - sort of similar to Smallville and Kyle XY. It's about two brothers who were raised as demon hunters and are looking for their father. On their journey they encounter many supernatural phenomena. The first season is on DVD, with the next arriving in a couple of months.

Angel the Series (I prefer it to Buffy, but others swear by that show instead) - by the creator of Firefly. It is about a vampire with a soul who sets out to help people to try to atone for his previous sins. All episodes are on DVD.

Bones - sort of a procedural, but mixes humor and character in with the mysteries nicely. It is about a forensic scientist who specializes in bones who helps the FBI solve crimes. It is based on the book series by Kathy Reichs. The first season is on DVD with the second arriving in the next couple of months.

The X-Files - an absolute classic sci-fi series. Really, no explanation needed! I personally prefer the stand alone episodes to the mythology episodes, but it is all good. All seasons are on DVD.

The Pretender - sort of sci-fi, sort of procedural, but with good character development and humor. It's about a Pretender, a genius with the ability to become anyone. He was raised by a corporation called The Centre, which used his abilities for profit/evil. He escaped and is trying to find his family while also trying to help people to atone for the evil things he had (unwittingly) done in the past. All seasons on DVD.
