Fifth Race Season 2 Stargate SG-1. Jack gets an Ancient repository downloaded into his mind and slowly loses the ability to communicate as the Ancient knowledge rewrites his mind. He realizes that he needs to get the Asgard's help and builds a special battery to send extra power to the gate {the Asgard planet is in another galaxy so they need the additional power to dial the gate}. He goes through the gate and the Asgards take the knowledge out of his brain. He goes back to normal {which means not speaking Ancient} and chats with the Asgard who tell him that earthlings are well on their way to becoming the fifth race {the other four are Ancients, Asgards, Furlings, and Noxs}.
