What is your opinion of "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?"?
Personally, I don't like it. The host is annoying [with lame jokes] the kids look more like 3rd graders, and some of the questions I didn't know when I was in 5th grade. Oh, and there's alot of idiots who go on it.
But, hey. That's me. What do YOU think?
Answers:
It's a great show to encourage kids to disrespect Adults even more. It makes the Adults look like morons and truth be told a lot of the contestants are so clueless they must have copied in University. Take for instance the Lawyer who was on last week-he didn't even read the question carefully and when asked "how many......." as in NUMBER/QUANTITY he replied "RED" I was furious he was given a second chance although he had rung in. This is highly unfair to previous contestants. He also got a lot of easy questions wrong and had to use every one of his 'life lines' ..save, copy etc. This fool went on to win 500,000 -this was totally unfair. Incidentally he had just been on the TV show 'Who wants to be a Millionaire' and won the grand total of ZERO. This is what he would have won here if the host didn't keep tipping him off and if he didn't repeatedly cheat by saying his answer before buzzing in and gauging the audiences response to see if they approved before ringing in or changing his answer. It was obviously tipped heavily in his favour.
