L'Oreal advert banned over celebrity endorsement lies...?!

Question:

L'Oreal advert banned over celebrity endorsement lies...?

So, it appears that the Advertising Standards Authority banned a L'Oreal advert after L'Oreal used fake eyelashes in an advert for mascara. Was the ASA right to ban this advert do you think? Does it just confirm that all adverts lie, or is this a one-off?

Rachy - strangely no. But then that's because I'm a boy. ;-)

Answers:

It was obvious this was a lie as nothing can extend your lashes without you actually adding something on. I think some people may have believed it so yes it should have been banned. Why should people be able to lie to make money? And im sure not all adverts lie. I have bought products that have worked on the strength of an advert.
