What is that noise that girl Butterscotch makes on America's Got talent?

I know they are saying that she is singing and BeBoping. Well I must be getting old because it sounds like a lot of noise to me. She is a pretty girl and then she screws up her mouth and out comes that noise.I don't see how she was voted through to the final 10.????

I agree with you...beat boxing is just basically spitting noise into a microphone. My daughter insists she is really good at it and it takes talent. I keep saying if I had a microphone I could do those noises too.
