On the TV show Passions, what is the relationship between Ethan and Theresa?

Thanks! I don't watch passions, but I saw a little video of it, and I noticed ethan andd theresa's intimate relationship...are they married? What's their relationship?

Ethan and Theresa are star crossed lovers. She's always loved him, and at first he was engaged to his high school sweetheart, Gwen. Theresa became Ivy's assistant (Ivy is Ethan's mother) to get closer to Ethan. He started falling in love with her, and ended up breaking off the engagement the night before the wedding. Soon Ethan and Theresa were engaged, and the night before their wedding they made love for the first time (conceiving Little Ethan). However, they didn't get married because of a tabloid report that Theresa had revealed Ethan's true paternity (Gwen and her mother had actually done it and sent a copy of the tabloid to Ivy, who drove her car through the church). During the next few years Theresa got married to Julian (the guy Ethan thought was his father until the paternity thing came out)...marriage turned out to be a sham (they were drunk, and a friend of Julian's decided to play a practical joke on them). She's also been married to Alistar, Julian's father (He made a deal that if she married him, he'd help her get Ethan back...yeah, it's stupid). Right now she's married to a guy named Jared Casey. Ethan went back to Gwen, they got married, and eventually she got pregnant. However, the pregnancy was rough, and the baby was stillborn, and Gwen couldn't have any more children. Gwen blamed Theresa, since Ethan still loved her. They hired a surrogate, and when Theresa found out, she drugged the surrogate and took her place to get implanted. Then she thought she had miscarried, so she drugged Ethan, put on a blond wig (to look like Gwen) and slept with him. Turns out she hadn't miscarried, and ended up being pregnant with Gwen and Ethan's baby, as well as her own baby with Ethan. But as soaps go, something happened and she had to terminate one of the pregnancies if she wanted any of them to live. She said to terminate one, not knowing which would live. Turns out her baby (a daughter she named Jane) with Ethan survived, which drove Gwen into a psycopathic rage. Anyways, Ethan and Gwen recently divorced, since he's never stopped loving Theresa. And even though Theresa's married, she was forced into it, and she still loves Ethan. They're currently engaged, she's planning to divorce Jared, and Gwen and her mother have proof that Little Ethan is Ethan's son, something Theresa's been hiding (she had been passing him off as Julian's son, since they consummated their sham marriage. She found out when Little Ethan was a few years old who his father really was).

To make it simple, Theresa and Ethan are engaged lovers who've never been married, and they have two kids, although Ethan doesn't know that Little Ethan is his son.
