Pros-
no commercial on the music, traffic and weather is available all the time for major metros!. I have a tuner in the plane that plays XM radio, while simultaneously providing radar and other weather data!. UNCENSORED channels for when I want to hear a real conversation!. channels that can be heard all across the USA!. Sirius has a tuner that streams three tv channels to any monitor in the car (aimed towards children)!.
cons- no cupholders
HD
Pros- proves that Fm radio, as an institution, is loosing its grip on listeners to ipods, and satellite/ internet radio!.
cons-provides a horrible amount of interference across the spectrum making it unuasable for AM stations at night!. Oh did I mention the National Association of Broadcaster( aka we don't like change or improved technology) is leading the charge for this!.

hd radio is put out by terrestrial stations, XM is satellite, with no commercials!. I prefer XM!!!!! Www@Enter-QA@Com
