Question: Is breakfast radio scripted!?
Hello, I've been listening to some really bad breakfast and drive radio recently!. The jokes they tell sound to me to be scripted (even though they're just 'talking naturally') because there is usually some punchline in the conversation!. More often than not, this punchline is not funny at all but the co-presenter bursts out into hysterical laughter right before they cut to a song!.

As a former Morning Show Host I have a pretty good opinion on this!. For my part, my show was never scripted!. However there were prep services that I sometimes used that were written ahead of time!. I never would read word-for-word off of the script!. I would usually just use the basic information, then make the bit my own!. I always felt that it sounded a lot better to have natural free flowing conversation on my show instead of just scripted garbage!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
