There are a lot of similarities between programming on both XM and Sirius!. The talk and sports on Sirius seems to be better!. Sirius has Howard Stern which attracted millions of subscribers to that company!. XM does have some talk channels, Oprah Winfreys probably being one of their most popular!. On the other hand, Martha Stewart has her own channel on Sirius!. Sirius in addition to having Howard Stern also has other talent that was big on terrestrial radio!. Jay Thomas who was a popular DJ on regular radio has a daily show afternoons on Sirius!. Mad Dog who used to be part of Mike and the Mad Dog has his own channel on sirius now!. As I said before XM and sirius do have some very identical channel's, sirus 9 the pulse and XM'S flight 26 are pretty identical both play songs from the 90's and today!. Although XM also has one channel dedicated specifically to the 90's where sirius has one each dedicated to the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's but for the 90's the pulse is it but is a very good channel in its own right!. Any weaknesses that XM has or had won't be lasting much longer though since the two companies finally had the merger approved!. Hope this helps a little!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
You needn't be a subscriber!. You can easily research this with the free trials offered by both and the information available on their websites and others that have reported on them in the news!. Especially since this would be a question requiring a subjective approach as opposed to an objective one!.
