Question: Who is tired of the same classic rock songs being played on the radio!?
i live in northern virginia and i am so sick of hearing all the same classic rock songs!. im kind of tired of classic rock in general!. i do like it, but im so tired of hearing it! it makes me not like it anymore!
im talking about eric clapton, allman brothers, van morrison, led zeppelin, supertramp, acdc, crosby steels and nash, electric light orchestra, lynrd skynard, the who, the eagles, journey, jefferson airplane, boston, aerosmith, santana!.!.!.i can keep going!. i am so tired of it!. i am like, classick rocked out!. hah
so i stopped listening to the radio for the most part!.

Though I agree with you slightly!. It seems a lot of classic rock stations only know a few key songs from bands!. For example, a local station never plays an AC/DC song that isn't "Thunderstruck", "Highway to Hell", or "Back in Black"!. Likewise, the same station never plays any Queen song that isn't "Bohemian Rhapsody", "We Will Rock You", or "Fat Bottomed Girls"!. It bugs me sometimes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Unfortuneately radio can only go after the major listener base and that means the songs you mention but yes, I do love classic rock but I love the lesser known hits that don't get heard very often!.
HD radio was supposed to help in adding stations on the air which would fill the void that satellite is filling, however with lousy coverage and repetition, most are doing like yourself and going to sat radio for the variety!. But most stations like that after a while do repeat a lot also!.
Personally I love little played hard classic rock and new rock and no sat broadcasters have really brought the two together yet!.

I came to the conclusion that I have a better selection of music than my classic rock station does!. I bought a car new years eve, it had xm, I LOVE it!!!! I bought an xm radio, & had it installed in my conversion van, I bought the kind, that I can play in my house in a docking port!!!!! Best decision, I ever made!!!!!

Have you looked into XM Radio!? They have a channel called Deep Tracks that is a "no rules" classic rock station!. They play songs that FM radio won't touch!. also, you will be introduced to artists you've never heard of!.
