Question: Who works on live radio remotes!?
i'm working on a fictional piece and need to know all who are necessary to put together/execute live remote ie sound engineer/dj, ThanksWww@Enter-QA@Com

Depends on the station size!. In smaller markets the DJ will do everything from setting up the tents to hooking up the sound system and relay back to station!. In smaller stations it just might be a cellphone!. In larger markets, (like where I am in Las Vegas) we employ remote setup techs who do the technical work, setups etc and act to assist the talent!. We use Codecs, ISDN lines, VHF and UHF transmitters and Internet links to get the remote back to the station!. In very large union markets it might take a half dozen specialists!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
