Which one plays music - AM or FM radio?!
Question: Which one plays music - AM or FM radio!?
i forgot which one plays music and which one plays talkshows and such!. becuase i am getting speakers for my ipod and i found one i really like but it only plays FM radio!. i am fine with that if FM radio is the one that plays music!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Actually there are talk stations on AM and FM and music stations on AM and FM!.
But broadly speaking, AM tends to feature "oldies" type music when it does have music (rock music from the 60s and older, "classic" country dating from the 1970s and before, and easy listening music from the 1960s and before that is sometimes called "music of your life")!. And for the most part AM radio is much more likely to have talk show programming than FM!.
So if you want the more music intensive band, you want FM radio!. It probably is a bit moot since you'll presumably spend MOST of the time listening to the iPod anyway!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Fm is normally considered the music band but as Greg said, there is talk and news on FM now with music (he forgot a lot of ethnic, new Country music, and americana music actually are on small Am stations also)

Depends on where you live!. Usually you have AM stations that play windbags like Rush Limbaugh or Dr Laura!. FM stations play music that is played over and over again!. The Oldies Stations will play Credence Clearwater Revival or Elvis!. Keith Urban and Shania Twain constantly over again to the point you hate their music!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
